Panic..

...Stations

This past week was one of wondrous highs, and awful lows.

The location, as seen at the head of this post, has one of the best views of Sydney that there is.

as a place to be, Goat Island is bloody good.

when the weather sucks, a film shoot can be one of the worst places to be.

when the rain comes, you always seem to be shooting something; and as a boom op, you're going to get wet.

my least favorite weather condition is the drizzle/almost/not-quite-rain/developing-into-real-rain; as it's nigh impossible to decide at the beginning of the day, whether to go FULL rain gear or not.

I usually slip on a rain jacket and spend most of the day wet and partially miserable.

then one day, the sun breaks through, you break for lunch, make a nice coffee for yourself, and look out at the view.

all in all it's a pretty charmed kind of life.

I'm way too tired to contemplate anything exciting this weekend.
