A Spacecam system was shipped out to 2nd unit for some beauty shots of the locations.

In the days before high quality camera drones, you needed a big-ass helicopter to shoot landscape shots with movement...

The space-cam is a Gyroscopic stabilised mount for a cinema camera (The big ball shaped housing attached to the front of the helicopter) - a proprietary system, sent from LA to the far reaches of Western Australia to shoot some of the beautiful landscapes for Baz's epic.
